Affordable Web Design

Affordable Web Design

Hi all, EpicWebs here, today I wanted to talk about the price of web design and development, I know both are very different but they combined together to create your perfect website. Web development can be more time consuming and take longer to get working exactly right, so generally if you are after a large project or a web application this could be the more expensive of the two, but remember at EpicWebs.co.uk we are always affordable!

Web design comes down to creative flare and sometimes can be very quick if the designer is into their current project, or it can take longer if the designer needs to research a little, either way at EpicWebs we will fix a price on design and not charge by the hour, this is to protect our customers.

At EpicWebs.co.uk we currently have an offer on for all of our static sites up to 5 pages and 1 contact page for £250, this means that you can budget and not worry about the price of your site project.

We will complete everything for you and not charge anything more than £250, if you would like anything extra then of course we can also accomodate on top of our Standard Package, we can also offer you the Basic Package which consists of a 1 contact page, and a home page which includes information about your company, this is currently costing £200.

Our Current Price Listing: 09/01/2011

- Basic Package | £200 | 1 Contact Page, 1 Home Page.

- Standard Package | £250 | 1 Contact Page, 1 Home Page, 4 extra pages.

- Mobile Site Package | £50 | Your site built into a mobile site as well.

- Custom Development | N/A | Have a current project you are working on? Visit us to get the help you need.

- Design Only | £125 | We can also design your website and pass it onto your developers.

- Development Only | £150 | have a design you want built? As long as it meets our Standard Package criteria then we can do that for £150.

Web design is tricky when it comes to pricing, but we like to build out our price list for our customers to see, this makes it easier for everyone involved. If you would like to find out about a larger website then please contact us over at EpicWebs.co.uk. That is all from me today, I will be back tomorrow to see if I can help some people with some tutorials and free templates on our website.

Caister and Acle Web Design

Hey, I was just looking at the surrounding areas of Norwich, I have decided to look in the direction of the coast starting with Acle and ending with Caister.

But before that I am going to reveal an excellent secret for people looking to get themselves noticed by search engines.

The single most important thing when it comes to getting yourself noticed online is content, you have to have some awesome reason for people to return to your website over and over again. Content engages the viewer and makes them interact with the website, the content could be audio, video, pictures or purely just text.

By engaging your visitors with quality content it does two things, makes them more likely to return, but at the same time and more importantly, makes them likely to want to recommend your site to their family and friends.

Another key thing with content is that if you engage in other peoples content you are more likely to get them to visit your site as well. For example if you leave a blog comment to someone saying, hey awesome post I am really interested in that subject as well, I have even made a site about it, let me know what you think, this helps the other person consider your site where as other wise they would not have even seen it before.

You can also participate in content by visiting forums, or joining social networks and discussing peoples opinions and thoughts about your relevant subject.

All of this participation combined with a little bit of hard work will start to get your site noticed more on the internet, good luck and I am sure you will get where you want to be!

Acle
Acle was on the Norfolk shoreline and grew as a fishing village. Great Yarmouth did not exist, the area it occupies being a sand bank, and all the marshes between Great Yarmouth and Acle were under sea. Gradually land was reclaimed from the estuaries of the Rivers Bure, Waveney and Yare leaving large expanses of flat land stretching towards the sea.

Caister
Caister-on-Sea is a seaside resort and civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It is situated on the coast, some 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Great Yarmouth.

The civil parish has an area of 4.12 km2 (1.59 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 8,756 in 3,970 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the district of Great Yarmouth.

Web Design Oulton Broad and Ellough

Hey all, EpicWebs here.

Today I wanted to run through a couple of specific techniques in getting yourself noticed when designing a website.

There is nothing worse than designing a site, spending a lot of effort and time into building this site and people visit it, don't like it, then leave. The trick to getting people interested in the website has nothing to do with building or designing the site, not directly anyway. The important part to remember is that you have to research and know your audience, without this key part of the website design and development process you will be building a site which could be for anyone.

Always research your target market, make sure you know what they enjoy and how you can bring that over into the website, for example if you are designing a pet website, a lot of people really enjoy their pets and love to play with them, so make sure the site feels a little playful whilst still mainting a professional and secure look.

Another website would be a solicitors, you would not want the solicitors to have playful pictures and toys on their website, they want to be portrayed as highly professional.

Ok so I have run through my number one tip for making sure you design excellent looking websites, now is the time for a little history in the surrounding areas.

Ellough
Ellough is a parish in the English county of Suffolk located approximately 2¼ miles (3½km) south-east of Beccles. The mid-2005 population estimate for Ellough parish was 40. The parish council operates to administer jointly the parishes of Shadingfield, Willingham St Mary, Sotterley and Ellough.

The village is dispersed and has few services. Ellough church is dedicated to All Saints.

Oulton Broad
Oulton Broad, is a wonderful area of suffolk set on the entrance to the Broads National Park and close to the popular seaside town of Lowestoft.

Until our next post keep an eye on our website over at http://epicwebs.co.uk for more information and tips on web design and development.

Web Design Great Yarmouth and Cromer

Sometimes you just have to take action, today I am taking action in the direction of Great Yarmouth and Cromer.

There are many excellent web services we can offer customers in and around both of these areas, I will run through a few in a moment, but first lets get to know a little bit about the places them selves. Lets start with Great Yarmouth. My memories of Great Yarmouth are visits to the beach when we had time off from school and playing on the various pier type arcade games they have.

Great Yarmouth
Great Yarmouth, often known to locals as Yarmouth, is a coastal town in Norfolk, England. It is at the mouth of the River Yare, 20 miles (32 km) east of Norwich.

It has been a seaside resort since 1760, and is the gateway from the Norfolk Broads to the sea. For hundreds of years it was a major fishing port, dependent mainly on the herring fishery, but its fishing industry suffered a steep decline, and has now all but disappeared. The discovery of oil in the North Sea in the 1960s led to a flourishing oil rig supply industry, and today it services offshore natural gas rigs. More recently, the development of renewable energy sources, especially offshore wind power, has created further opportunities for support services. A wind farm of 30 generators is within sight of the town on the Scroby Sands.

The town has a popular beach and two piers.

Cromer
With its pier and its two museums, wide open beaches, spectacular cliffs, its famous pier show, its cinema with three screens, there's lots to enjoy in Cromer. And we haven't mentioned the many glorious walks in the neighbourhood, the town's Folk Festival and Carnival, Lifeboat Day and Firework displays, the places to visit in north Norfolk ……… well, explore the site to see just what is on.

The streets of Cromer today are little removed from how they looked in the Victorian era. Most of the great landmarks, many of which were created by the well-to-do Victorian "summer timers", still stand as familiar to the holiday makers of today as they were to their counterparts a hundred years ago.

Cromer does however have a much more ancient history than that, the magnificent church is a medieval legacy, a relic from the days when Cromer was still known as Shipden - a modest settlement of fishermen and merchants.

Both of these places are definitely worth a visit, for very different reasons as well.

The web services we can offer you in and around these places are things like, mobile web design, web development, website design, search engine optimisation and more. With our excellent knowledge of the major city in Norfolk we are able to provide excellent friendly local service whilst maintaining a firm grasp on current trends in the city.

Worlingham

Beccles
Beccles today is a thriving market town with an active community spirit, steeped in history. The picturesque town is situated in the heart of the Waveney Valley and has many a story to tell. The narrow streets and quaint architecture hide the sometimes turbulent history of this ancient borough with its fiercely independent citizens.
